Outside the Blur

Our Sun is an extraordinary and beautiful star, a wonder in the Universe likewise other billions and billions of stars from the Universe. It delivers every day, without cease, the energy that modeled our Solar System from 5 billions years ago. Our Earth, where we live receives no more than 2 billionths fractions of the Sun’s energy. Yes this is 0.000000002 of it, a very small number. Our Sun could sustain 500 millions Earths if they would be arranged around the Sun. If the Earth would receive 1 billionth of energy, it would have been covered completely by ice. No life could develop in these conditions. If it would receive 3 billionth of it, the Earth would have been a vast desert, inhospitable and too warm for life.

Our Earth, this amazing planet is receiving its energy from the Sun. This is the energy that is responsible for all the processes that happen to Earth. Plants are the only capable life forms from Earth which can process directly the Sun’s energy and transform it to other energy sources. This is the reason why fossil fuels exist in the first place. In hundreds of millions of years, plants took Sun’s energy and by photosynthesis fixed the carbon and transformed in  different forms of fossil fuels that we know today: oil, petrol, coal, wood. Any substance that you see on Earth and which burns, it is doing so because in the past a chemical reaction made by plants took place and stored this energy. This happened in an incredible amount of time : 2 billions years.

Animals are not capable of self sustaining. They extract their energy by consuming organic food: vegetables or meat. This is the energy that gives them power. Without it, animals would not exist on this planet and the humans too.

Even though, the conditions which made life possible on Earth are extraordinary. I will try to enumerate the most important factors  :

1. the inclination of the Earth’s axis on the orbit by 23.6 degrees gave the possibility to exist seasons. Without this some regions would be permanently frozen and others permanently desert.
2. the rotation of the Earth which gives the day and night cycle which is so needed by life.
3. deep inside the Earth the nucleus which is made by Iron and Nickel and which rotates differently from the rest of the Earth. It gives it magnetic field which protects life from dangerous high energy particles.
4. the atmosphere which has the right amount of composition and which protects life from other types of radiation like gamma, X-rays, ultraviolet.
5. the fact that the main liquid of the Earth is water which has an incredible cycle
6. the properties of the water which between 0 and 4 Celsius degrees behaves strangely by dilating instead of contracting. This is why ice floats, because it has a different density than the unfrozen water. This gave the possibility for life to exist because ice is always at the surface of the water and protects from the cold the deeps. The water bellow is warmer and gives the possibility for creatures to survive.
7. yet again, the atmosphere which evaporates water and makes possible the life cycle. The currents which are forming in the atmosphere are very complex and this is why rains occur.
8. the fact that volcano and earthquakes occur is due to the fact that continental plates are moving. This is because Earth is warm inside and has a tremendous activity. Continental plates, by moving, shape the mountains, the valleys and varieties of Relief . The variety which we see now is because of that. Also because of this new material is taken from the inside and put to the outside, assuring fertility for plants.

There are also some external factors like the existence of giant planets which lie outside the Earth’s orbit and which protected it from asteroids and comets which can destroy life. There are some other factors too.

But look again, we tiny humans, living to the surface of the Earth, around a Sun (our Sun) receiving just 2 billionth of energy from it. And this Sun which is only a star among other 200 billions of stars from our galaxy, Milky Way. And our galaxy is just one of the 1000 billions of galaxies that are in the range of our optical observations.

How small is the Earth compared to these huge astronomical numbers ? How small we are just compared to the our Sun’s energy ? And I ask myself, as a fellow human being living on this tiny planet : What right I have to not be humble and respectful to these things ? There are billions of years of continuous arrangement which gave what we see today. To count only to 1 billion, it will take you over 25 years. How can we be so blind ?

How can we play and not take consideration about all this amazing things ?

What Earth produced in billions of years, all the energy stored in the fuel fossils we burn it in just 100 years. 100 years of burning oil, petrol, gas, coal, wood. Try to think about this a little. What took the Earth let’s say 1 billion years ( even if the Earth it is 4,6 billions years old ) we consume in 100 years, 200 let’s say (from 1850) . Let’s do some arithmetic now : 1 billion divided by 200 gives 5 millions. We burn this energy stored all this time 5 millions times quicker : 5.000.000 times quicker. What does it means ? It means that all the heat that result in the process must go somewhere. Where ? In our atmosphere. All this heat stays in the atmosphere, warms the Earth, keeps the heat to the Earth. The Earth is not capable of compensating because the Earth must take all this energy through plants which are the only capable organisms of storing carbon and take energy. We are in a trap. And the results are already visible. The arctic almost remained this year without ice. It’s a new record. In 5-10 years the arctic will not have ice on summer. And all the life cycle on Earth will be greatly perturbed : marine currents, atmospheric currents, circulation of water will cease to function properly and life will not be sustainable than in a few and limited places. Temperature will rise again and again until the critical point for life to exist will be reached. Yes, these are sad news. Unfortunately, true.

And I ask myself yet again ? What right do we have as humans, to destroy 5 billions of years of permanent construction of the Earth ? Earth is alive, like us, but to a different level that we can’t understand because we are too small compared. Why we are so stupid, so irrational, so violent with nature, so insensitive, so unconscious ? Nature is with us and in us, not against us. We aren’t born in hospitals even maternities exist ! We born because this process of creation going from the first embrion cell to a self sustaining and autonomous organism developed in billions of years in nature. Nature which we are at war right now. If nature dies, we die. Maybe this is a fair price for the insanity we arrived.

Hopefully, this will not happen and people will realize and be conscious about this possible reality.

Nu sunt genul sa urmaresc politica dar in ultima vreme evenimentele care ameninta Romania sunt cutremuratoare. Nu sunt nici specialist in politica, imi exprim punctul meu de vedere.

Privesc cu groaza si stupefactie de situatia in care se afla Romania de cand USL a preluat conducerea tarii in frunte cu  Victor Ponta si Crin Antonescu.

Tot ce se intampla in Romania in ultimele 2 luni denota nu numai o sfidare a bunului simt, al democratiei ci este o lovitura sub centura cetateanului cultivat si care mai si munceste din Romania si duce o viata cinstita.

Scurt istoric : Am sa incerc sa fac o analiza cat mai succinta a situatiei care a pornit de la o slabire a puterii aliantei PDL. Acesta a preluat puterea in 2008 prin alianta cu UDMR pentru a forma majoritate. Era singura alternativa de a avea majoritate la acea vreme pentru ca alegerile din 2008 au fost impartite intre 3 partide: PDL, PSD si PNL. Ceea ce s-a intamplat mai apoi sfideaza bunul simt si normalitatea. Atat PDL cat si PNL erau partide cu vederi de dreapta dar PNL si-a schimbat brusc vederile de dreapta si a facut alianta cu PSD+PC formand alianta USL. La vremea aceea, cred ca era prin 2010 am stat si m-am gandit : Cum domnule e posibil pentru un om sa iti schimbi vederile politice peste noapte ? Adica astazi sunt alb si maine ma transform in negru ? Mi se pare dezgustator si sfideaza orice etica morala sa faci asa ceva. Daca faci parte dintr-un partid, asta inseamna ca tu crezi intr-o ideologie.

Intre timp, cu miscari subtile si la obiect Basescu a intarit institutiile statului si le-a facut independente, cea mai de seama fiind Justitia. Au inceput sa se deruleze procese pentru coruptie la nivel inalt si furturi calificate din banii statului cum nu s-a mai facut niciodata pana acum. Au fost mai multe tentative de a-l da jos pe Basescu dar nu s-a putut face nimic pentru ca mai avea suficienta sustinere in parlament astfel incat orice tentativa sa fie contracarata. Asta pana la inceputul anului 2012 cand printr-o tradare a unui grup de PDL-isti care au trecut la USL, s-a creat o majoritate covarsitoare de partea USL. Buuuun pana aici.

Pe de alta parte, populatia a fost scarbita de gesturile publice a lui Basescu, de lipsa lui de eleganta si de maniera lui de a guverna indirect tara. I s-a facut publicitate extrem de negativa pe mai toate canalele media astfel incat cea mai mare parte a populatiei a fost intoxicata pana acolo incat s-au format grupari care i-au cerut demisia. Dar, in tot acest timp Basescu si-a facut treaba, depolitizarea institutiilor statului si inceperea urmaririi penale a tuturor celor care au fraudat tara, si de fapt pe cetateanul de rand. Dezgustul populatiei a pornit si de la masurile radicale luate de Emil Boc cand s-au facut reducerile salariale bugetarilor si a pensiilor, masuri care sunt extrem de delicate si periculoase pentru un partid si presedinte. Degeaba Basescu a incercat sa se disocieze cu PDL, populatia tot l-a considerat ca facand parte din acest partid.

Focul a izbucnit cand guvernul Ponta a preluat guvernul printr-o schimbare de poli de putere in parlament datorita migrarii acelui grup din PDL in USL.

Pe fondul procesului si sentintei de inchisoare cu executare a lui Adrian Nastase a inceput razboiul intre USL pe de o parte si Basescu si PDL pe de alta parte. Primii sunt inarmati cu puterea aproape absoluta avand in mana executivul tarii si parlamentul care poate sa legifereze dupa vointa lor tot ce doresc dumnealor. Ultimii au la indemana doar niste instrumente democratice care au fost create de-a lungul timpului printre care si Justitia.

De fapt toate aceste miscari care s-au facut sunt pentru salvarea lui Nastase de la inchisoare pentru obstructia Justitiei Romane, exact asa cum a declarat Basescu in seara zilei de 3 Iulie. Ponta a inceput sa schimbe tot ce i-a iesit in cale, a supus Romania pe plan extern la o sifonare grava a imaginii si o discreditare in acelasi timp. Nu a respectat Deciziile Curtii Constitutionale si toate lucrurile care nu le mai repet aici ca se stiu prea bine. Scandalul imens de plagiat discrediteaza complet institutiille invatamantului romanesc si Romania in general.

Acest Ponta, te uiti la el, cu o figura asa de copilandru, ca un elev si stai si te intrebi cum poate un asa om sa nege cu atata vehementa niste fapte grave pe care le savarseste, incalcarea deciziei Curtii Constitutionale, negarea faptului ca lucrarea lui de doctorat este plagiat. Nu iti vine sa crezi ca un asa om este capabil de asemenea lucruri ! Marea majoritate a populatiei il percepe mai mult dupa figura, dupa cum arata. Sunt indusi in eroare de aspectul lui nevinovat, dar sa nu uitam, de-a lungul timpului cele mai mari orori si prejudicii aduse umanitatii au fost aduse de acesti oameni care reusesc sa induca oamenilor o incredere bazata pe fizionomie, sa le induca oamenilor o incredere falsa. Nu ai zice ca Ponta este capabil sa plagieze ! Il privesti putin si mai ca zici ca este un om inteligent dupa figura ! Acesta este un lucru care iarasi deruteaza oamenii ! De fapt, modul in care se exprima, felul cum intelege lucrurile denota o inteligenta precara. Mai mult, nu are putere de discernament intre lucruri elementare. Actiunile il tradeaza si mai mult. Faptul ca savarseste asemnea fapte grave si nici nu realizeaza consecintele actiunilor lui, ma inclina sa cred ca nu are tocmai un psihic normal. Orice om ajuns la o maturitate, isi asuma responsabilitatea asupra faptelor lui, mai mult sau mai putin. Doar un om subdezvoltat psihic este capabil sa ignore niste lucruri evidente ca si un plagiat si sa nu isi recunoasca faptele. Este comportamentul leit unui copil de 7-8 ani.

Crin Antonescu este alt personaj cu probleme. Obsedat de putere, obsedat de Basescu, obsedat sa devina presedintele Romaniei. O fi avand numeroase probleme in viata. Este problema lui, nu a mea. Se vede pe el ca poarta cu el niste trauma psihice pe care si le varsa asupra tarii si asupra cetatenilor acestei tari.

Miza mare este Justitia care doresc sa o aduca iarasi sub control deoarece a fost inchis unul din simbolurile puterii lor, Nastase. Nu pot face asta atat timp cat Basescu e presedinte astfel incat vor incepe masurile de suspemdare. Oricum, orice s-ar intampla sunt convins ca oamenii vor reactiona si isi vor apara democratia. Justitia trebuie sa ramana libera intr-un stat de drept ! Daca nu, aceasta tara va ramane blestemata pentru totdeauna si nu va reusi niciodata sa intre in normalitate

Aggression is present in all of us everyday life. You can see it at on every corner of the street, in social human behavior, in television, movies, history. Somehow, to be violent it is embedded in our nature. In time, we lived and evolved in a world full of violence, in a savage habitat where violence is the dominant characteristic: The gazelle is eating quietly some vegetation and the lion is hunting it to eat it to the dinner.

There is part in the human brain responsible for the aggressive behavior: the small brain which comes directly from the ancestral evolution. At the beginning, the brain was small and in time added new layers, the superior layers of the brain. The basic layers remained in its centre and are associated with the primitive instincts like: reproduction, defense, survival , eating. This is the place where the aggression behavior lies also. These instincts are literally written in the very basic structure of the brain and you can’t ignore them. They are written deep inside you. When someone is attacking you, your first reaction is to defend yourself against the attacker. This is the behavior you’ll have.

When we speak of these basic instincts the conscious mind is far away. In such a moment, you can’t have consciousness because you are living at a primarily level (defense). This is not existence where you are, this is survival.

Humanity has never been completely at a higher level of existence, only parts of it. Some developed nations have a wealth status although, and consequently, their people gained a higher state of consciousness. They don’t need no more to gain their existence by using the primordial instincts because they have all they need to survive and even more.

But in the developing countries like the most countries of Africa, the situation is very problematic. There are people which die because of starvation. Consciousness here does not have its place and the control is taken completely by the primary instincts of survival. Talking about ethics and morality here is a nonsense. Life itself is not moral for those people living at the limits of survival. They can do actions which are helping them to maintain their lives, no matter what these actions could be. Men, which are at the limits of survival are capable to do things for which they can’t be completely blamed.

There is emigration, ethnic conflicts, there is steeling, even killing,. Situated at the lower limit of their lives, primary instincts are fully present. Poverty is one of the main sources of all problems in our world. People from poor countries are committing actions against the people from developed countries. Terrorism is the answer that poor people are giving to the other people who live in good conditions. The acts of terrorism have appeared because of their hate for richer people and societies and also because those people, at some point, took advantage from the poor people.

There is no action without a reaction. This is a universal principle and it applies also in this case. Exploiting the poor people and taking advantage from them has a long but sure response. They will surely one day come against you and try to knock you out. They hate you and they’ll do anything to see you down. Because the wealth nations and citizens are well defended militarily, the organizations which are represented by the  interests of poor people have found a new way to react : the terrorism. The terrorism does not require extensive funds of money and people with these convictions are trained to do everything against the richer people. That is why these days we are living these threats.

We must help the developing countries to rich a standard of life which is better that it is now. We are not isolated ones from the others on this planet anymore, even if we are living in different places, cultures, habits and mentalities. The global communications and the globalization process moves us much more closer and the interactions are made in lots of ways. If we help a little the unlucky to attain a certain level of prosperity, we will contribute also to our stability because they will not be situated at the survival state where primary instincts are situated.

Morality, ethics and consciousness reside at a higher level of existence where all the people from this world must be. But to accomplish this, major differences between people must be passed. It’s not about communism and living all the same life, having the same culture. Globalization does not means that we all need to be the same. It’s about having common ideas about life, having the same purposes and to share the same space where we live: the Earth. We must acknowledge all of us that everything we do has a consequence even if this is not immediately seen. For this, a level of understanding and comprehension is needed.

Life is a circle. You can be very rich but you can’t not enjoy life even if you have all the reasons. You can be poor and be happier. It’s an equilibrium. Life is taking your energy equally. If you have a lots of money and you don’t have the capacity to live free, you’ll be the slave of your money. Your entire energy will be taken by the money and you’ll not have the capacity to enjoy the most simple and beautiful things. Life is us and near you, peace is within us. Humanity must pass this obstacle that represents the surpassing of primary instincts and go further to another stage of evolution. This must be a dream, an ideal, but think that without a common ideal of the humanity, humans by themselves don’t have the power to move further into existence. A collaborative effort must be done by all of us.

There’re lots of things yet to be said. The entire world depends of us. Everyone of us must be aware of its own actions. Living quietly is not so difficult after all if you take things quietly. Having peace is the natural result of wealth of every human on this planet. And this is not be only a possibility, this must be a certainty.
